On September 18, 2026, four student-led magazines, SAI Arthashastra, Vistarika, Aitihya, and Chakravyuh, were unveiled in the presence of Shri Tathagat Satpathy, Editor of Dharitri. The initiative provides SAIoneers with a meaningful platform to explore ideas, engage with real-world issues and express their perspectives beyond the boundaries of the classroom.

Four Magazines, Four Areas of Exploration
Each publication offers students an opportunity to engage deeply with a distinct area of knowledge. SAI Arthashastra explores economics and sustainability, encouraging students to understand the connections between everyday decisions, businesses and wider global issues. Vistarika focuses on careers and future readiness, helping students explore the possibilities and choices that lie ahead. Aitihya takes students into the world of history and heritage, encouraging them to look beyond dates and events to discover stories, traditions and ideas that connect the past with the present. Chakravyuh explores politics, public policy and global affairs, encouraging students to read, question, consider different perspectives and develop their own understanding of current issues.

Learning Through Research and Expression
More than publications, the magazines represent an extension of learning through inquiry and independent exploration. The process of researching, writing and editing enables students to develop their ability to analyse information, reflect on different perspectives and communicate their ideas with clarity. Speaking at the launch, Shri Tathagat Satpathy appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of developing the habits of observation, questioning, research, reflection and expression from an early stage.

Giving Young Voices a Platform
For the student editors, the experience has been an opportunity to move beyond conventional academic learning and connect their interests with the world around them. From understanding economic connections and exploring future possibilities to discovering heritage and engaging with current affairs, each magazine reflects the curiosity and independent thinking of its student contributors. The four publications embody an approach to education that values research, independent thinking, communication and real-world learning. By creating spaces where students can question, investigate, write and share their ideas, the initiative encourages SAIoneers to grow as researchers, writers, thinkers and storytellers.

The launch of these magazines marks an important step in giving young minds the opportunity to engage meaningfully with the world, transform curiosity into knowledge and give their ideas a voice.
