SAI International School hosted the Science Model Competition & Exhibition 2026 on 2 September 2026 at the Indraprastha Auditorium, providing students with a vibrant platform to present their scientific ideas, innovative models and solutions to real-world challenges. The competition featured 46 student projects, reflecting a diverse range of scientific and technological themes. The exhibits explored areas such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy, water management, wastewater treatment, smart agriculture, traffic management, disaster response, environmental sustainability, biotechnology, climate resilience and healthcare.

Among the projects were innovative concepts such as "Algae to Aviation - Green Energy," "AI Assisted Household Water Reuse and Quality Decision System," "AI-Powered Coral Reef Detection and Early Warning System," "Smart Farming," "Emergency Drone," "EcoPaint Water Filter," "Tandem Solar Cells," "Smart Disaster Rescue Drone," "Landslide Prediction," "Odisha-2040: Smart Cyclone Resistant Farm," "AMR World Map," and "Rain Water Harvesting System." The models were evaluated by an eminent panel comprising Prof. Ratiranjan Nayak from IMMT, Dr. K. C. Patra from IOP, Dr. S. N. Sarangi from IOP, and Prof. Rajeeb Swain from ILS. Their expertise and interaction with the students added valuable academic and scientific perspective to the competition.

The valedictory ceremony commenced with the Welcome Address by the Senior Principal, followed by a brief introduction of the judges. The judges then addressed the students, after which mementos were presented to them, followed by the Vote of Thanks.

The Science Model Competition 2026 celebrated the students' ability to connect scientific concepts with practical applications. Through their models, the young innovators demonstrated curiosity, creativity and a willingness to engage with real-world challenges.
