On May 8, 2026, the educators of Classes VI–VIII participated in an intellectually enriching and professionally invigorating session on “Implementing Strategies for Effective Classroom Management”, facilitated by the esteemed resource person, Ms. Swetapadma Mohanty.
The session offered a thoughtful and nuanced exploration of pedagogical practices that contribute to purposeful learning environments and disciplined yet dynamic classrooms. Designed with remarkable clarity and intent, the workshop seamlessly blended theoretical understanding with practical application, enabling educators to reflect deeply on their classroom practices and teaching methodologies.
One of the most engaging aspects of the session was the effective use of compelling video clips and interactive activities, which brought key concepts to life and encouraged collaborative participation. The workshop highlighted essential strategies such as establishing structured classroom procedures, creating motivational learning spaces, optimising instructional time, and ensuring meaningful student engagement.
What made the session particularly impactful was its strong emphasis on practical applicability. Rather than remaining confined to theoretical discourse, the strategies discussed emerged as actionable approaches that educators could readily integrate into their everyday classroom environments. The workshop also underscored the importance of nurturing life skills alongside academic excellence, reflecting a truly holistic vision of education.
The atmosphere throughout the session was reflective, interactive, and inspiring. Educators were encouraged not only to manage classrooms effectively but also to create spaces where students feel valued, motivated, and empowered to learn with confidence and curiosity.
Insightful, engaging, and deeply thought-provoking, the workshop left a lasting impression on all participants. It served as a meaningful platform for professional growth, equipping educators with refined tools, innovative perspectives, and renewed enthusiasm to elevate their classroom management practices and foster enriching learning experiences for every student.
